In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

O John! Let your Handmaid speak in your presence! Your haste may not exceed that of the Most High! For He has weighed the age in the balance, measured the times by measure. And He will not move or arouse them until the measure appointed be fulfilled! Is it perchance on Our account that the threshing-floor of the Righteous is kept back? Or on account of the sins of the dwellers on earth? No!

Ask a woman who is with child, when her nine months has been completed can she keep the child within her any longer? No! For just as she in travail makes haste to escape the anguish of the travail — even so do these hasten to deliver what has been entrusted to them from the beginning! You are hastening for your own self, but the Exalted One, on behalf of many!

To you it shall be shown concerning those things which you desire to see, and you shall hear His Voice! Then you may come unto me and I will explain matters to you. And if you follow the words of your handmaid, my lord will not fail to achieve all His purposes!

Are you greatly disturbed in mind over Israel that you have displayed the judgment too soon? The days that have not yet come? None beside Allah could disclose it! I have a message to you from your Lord! ….. “John, I have not pressed you to send evil, you know that which came out of My lips! Therefore prophesy against them! I have made you a sign for the house of Israel, and set them up as a warning example for their time, and for all times to come. As well as an admonition to all who are God-conscious, perhaps they will understand!

The guilt of the house of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great! The land is full of blood, and the city full of injustice. As for Me, My eye will not spare, nor will I have pity, but I will requite their deeds upon their heads! And as for those who have attained to Faith, and have not obscured their faith by wrong-doing — they shall be secure!

Fear not, for as you have seen and read it — thus shall it be! And do write down everything as you have seen and read, for they have wrought uncleanness on the earth. They follow nothing but conjectures and what their souls desire, even though there has already come to them guidance from Me! Therefore prophesy against them, and say: “It is to Allah that the end and the beginning of all things belong! It is He Who destroyed the ancient tribes of Ad and Thamud — leaving no trace, as well as the people of Noah! For they were most unjust and insolent transgressors. This is a warning like those warnings of old — the threatened hour is near. None but Allah could disclose it!” …..

Now bear gallantly, for I knew that the Most High was about to reveal all these things to you! They shall tremble and be shaken for they know that their end is to be changed. For Allah did surely command them what they should do to live, and what they should observe to avoid punishment! Nevertheless they were disobedient and spoke against Him. They devised for themselves vain thoughts, and ignored His ways!

His Laws they did despise, His Covenants they denied — in His Statutes they have put no faith, and have set at naught His Commandments! I will not grieve over the multitude of them that perish. They it is who now are extinguished. When the Decisive Decree has gone forth from the Most High that man should die — if it be of those who have scorned, and have not kept the ways of the Most High, they shall pine away for shame and wither with fear. Of those, however, who have kept the ways of the Most High, they understand the rest and the glory which awaits them at their latter end. They rejoice that they have now escaped what is corruptible!

Seven days they have freedom, that during these seven days they may see the things aforesaid — for then everyone shall bear his own righteousness or unrighteousness! But to what avail could all the messages and all the warnings be to people who will not believe? For this is the way which Moses spoke unto the people. Nevertheless they believed not him, nor the Prophets after him! Once it lights upon them, hopeless will be the awakening of those who were warned!
