YOUR BOOK
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful John, We have made all things ‘manifestly plain’ to you, here is ‘your Book!’ None shall be denied ‘the bounty’ of your Lord, yet most of them persist in disbelief! Nothing prevents men from having Faith when Guidance is revealed to them, but the excuse: “I consider you to be a man deprived of reason. You know full well His Promise has been fulfilled!” ….. No knowledge have they of such a thing, nor had their fathers! They preach nothing but falsehoods if they deny this Revelation. And who is more wicked than he who invents a lie concerning Allah — guessing at the unknown? Rouse with your voice whomever you are able, for Satan sows dissension among them! Say: “My Lord knows best their number. His are the secrets of the heavens and earth and none can change His Words!” ….. He will forgive those who turn to Him, and We will provide for them and for you! When you ‘measure’ do not follow that which you do not know! Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost — your Lord will be their all-Sufficient Guardian! We, Ourself, shall see to its collection and recital. Follow its words attentively and let not your eyes pass beyond them! These injunctions are but a part of ‘the Wisdom’ with which your Lord has inspired you. Well have you deserved it. Let him who will, believe in it, and him who will, deny it!
