TRUE PRAYER

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Praise be to Allah, the Most Gracious, Most Merciful — Master of the Day of Judgment! Allah has made me a remnant in the midst of the Earth. And now I will teach you Wisdom, and Knowledge of Good and Evil, and will give you Instruction whereby you may Live!

Where is the man who delights to know the Ways of Allah? Let him come this Day, and whatsoever is fit to be revealed — shall be revealed! Only let your heart be with the Lord, and doubt not. For it is founded by the Word of His Almighty and Honorable Name! For the sake of those who are doubtful, and think in their hearts whether these things are so or not — all these things are True, firm and established. Wherefore put on divine faith! Those who turn from their sins, with their whole heart — shall be established!

Cast all your cares upon Allah, because He can do all things! He can both — turn away His Wrath from you, and send you Help and Security! Keep in mind the things I say to you, and then shall you know Allah, the Ever-Living, Who Ordains these things is the Creator and Sovereign Judge — Alone in all His Might!

O you who have attained to Faith! Help yourselves through Patience and Prayer. In Prayer and no where else will men find the Grace and Mercy of Allah! I say unto you that very few make True Prayer. Stand before Allah in devout obedience! This is the most Excellent way — standing before the Lord’s face, doing His will!

I fell prone and bowed before the Lord, and Gabriel caught hold of me like a leaf caught in the wind, and placed me before the Lord’s Face! He said unto me: “Why do you prostrate yourself? Have you not heard that this is evil, what you do? Know you not that the Jinn who rebelled against Allah, and followed Satan, were asked to repent, they said: “We repent at having done you any reverence. You are not just, but Satan is — he is our Lord!”….. they gathered themselves before him, and they bowed and prostrated to him! Allah’s Anger was kindled against them, and He expelled them from Paradise. Refrain from this and bring not evil upon your soul!” …..

The Lord corrected me, even as He wills to correct you! Do not confuse Truth with Falsehood, and bow down with those who bow down — it is a detestable emulation! Stand up with all devotion before Allah! The weak-minded among you will surely say: “What has turned you away from that which you formerly observed?” ….. Have courage and do not fear, lest you anger your Lord utterly!

Hold fast to my words in the thoughts of your hearts, and suffer them not to be erased! The Most High is mindful of your destruction, and also the Angels of Heaven. Who is he whose heart is not softened nor recognized concerning it? Love Uprightness, and draw not to uprightness with a double heart. Do not bow down! It shall be cut off from its roots, and its whole structure shall be destroyed! Walk in the path of Righteousness, for all that walk in the path of unrighteousness shall truly perish!

O Gabriel! Come forth and speak! ….. “O Mankind! Will you question the Messenger like Moses was questioned? You have heard the Truth! We know who follows the Messenger, and him who turns away. Satan rebelled against the Lord, and taught all his ignorant subjects — his wicked ways. Do not bow down! Think! He seeks to be higher than Allah, and not wishing to recognize anyone above him. And the same do you when you make Prayer — when you are bound to the ground in heaviness!

Now how can you do this thing? Who advised you to this? The Adversary — in order to bring down the Anger of the Lord upon you! They rebelled and transgressed against Him, and were dispersed from the Heavenly abode. Are you so silly, ignorant, or deficient in understanding to do these things? Allah sees all things, and Allah sees all the wicked!

O you who Believe! Surely it is not good for you to do these things, and thereby bring a great evil upon your souls. Do not fear, neither be alarmed! Allah does not want to make your previous Prayers worthless — He is Compassionate and All-Merciful. Now therefore put away this evil and Stand before Him, lift your hands and eyes above Heaven! Should you not do this, then you will die in shame. Why do you hesitate? Hasten — rise up, and save your soul!”
