In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Believers! Have fear of Allah Who teaches you, and let ‘the Trustee’ discharge his Trust! The Apostle believes in what has been revealed to him from his Lord, and so do the Faithful. This will make it easier for you to avoid ‘injustice.’ You may regard it as ‘lawfully yours.’ Allah takes ‘sufficient account’ of all your actions, whether it be little or much. He is Gracious and All-Knowing! Allah forgives those who commit ‘evil in ignorance’ and then turn to Him in repentance! But those who follow their own appetites wish to see you ‘far astray’ — believing neither in Allah, nor the Last Day!
On ‘that Day’ — those who disbelieved and disobeyed the Apostle, will wish that they were ‘leveled to the dust!’ Believe in that which We have revealed! What Allah ordains shall be accomplished, and Allah ‘purifies’ whom He will. Allah is Mighty and Wise. This will in the end be better and more just! Come to be judged by that which Allah has revealed, and by the Apostle. You shall not be wronged the husk of a date stone! He that obeys the Apostle obeys Allah Himself. But for Allah’s ‘Grace and Mercy’ all but a few of you would have followed Satan. Allah ‘keeps count’ of all things, and whose word is truer than Allah’s? He is ‘Wise and All-Knowing’ therefore show ‘discernment’ — Allah has prepared a shameful punishment for the unbelievers!
He that disobeys the Apostle after Our guidance has been revealed to him, and follows a path other than ‘the Faithful’ — Hell shall be their home! Such is the true promise of Allah. We exhort you to fear Allah, conduct yourselves with justice, and bear ‘true witness’ before Allah, even though it be against yourselves. Do not be led by ‘passion’ — lest you swerve from the Truth! He that denies Allah, His Angels, His Scriptures, His Apostles, and the Last Day, has strayed far from the Truth! Would you give Allah a ‘clear proof’ against yourselves, saying: “We believe in some, but deny others!” ….. thus seeking a middle way? Allah will not forgive those who disbelieve and act ‘unjustly’ nor will He guide them to any path other than Hell!
The Apostle has brought you the Truth from your Lord, and ‘the Messiah’ does not disdain to be a Servant of Allah! As for those who are ‘scornful and proud’ — He will ‘sternly punish’ them. Allah has knowledge of all things, and He has ‘set a measure’ for all things. You men of understanding! Allah has now sent down to you ‘a warning’ — so that you may know that Allah has power over all things. Allah decrees what He will, and He seeks only to purify you and to perfect His favor to you! He knows your inmost thoughts. A ‘light’ has come to you, and a ‘Glorious Book!’ He creates what He will!
Our Apostle has come to reveal to you ‘Our will’ after an interval during which there were no Apostles! Enter, and when you have entered, you shall surely be victorious. The men who say with their tongues: “We believe.” ….. but have no faith in ‘their hearts’ — they are not true believers! There is ‘guidance’ and there is ‘light’ in the Torah which We have revealed! By it the Prophets who surrendered themselves to Allah, judged the Jews! After those Prophets, We sent forth Jesus and gave him the Gospel in which there is guidance and light!
Evil-doers are those that do not base their judgment on Allah’s revelations! Take heed lest they shall turn you away from a part of that ‘which Allah’ has revealed to you. Their works will come to nothing and they shall be ruined. Allah will replace them by others who love Him and are loved by Him — His Apostle and the Faithful! Do not seek the friendship of the unbelievers and those who were given the Book before you, who have made of your religion a jest and a pastime!
Indeed, He bestows as He will, and you will not be guided until you observe the Torah, and the Gospel, and that which is revealed to you from your Lord! Whoever believes in ‘Allah and the Last Day’ and ‘does right’ — shall have nothing to fear or regret. But those who disbelieve and deny Our revelations, shall be the ‘heirs of Hell.’ Will you not abstain from them so that you may triumph?
