THE ENDORSEMENT
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful O you who Believe! Receive in your hearts the admonitions of the blessed John! There is no blame on the Prophet regarding what Allah has ordained for him — ‘he is’ The Messenger of Allah and the seal of the Prophets! O Muhammad! We have sent you as a witness, a bearer of good news and a warner. Come quickly for the salvation of the world! ….. O John, when I was still with my companions, I said: “I await you!” ….. and those who stood around said: “Amen!” ….. No man can take your holy place and put it in another place, for ‘no man’ has such power! Your ‘seal’ is known! Creatures know it, hosts possess it, and the archangels are robed in it! Allah created all things, and from the beginning set it in order. Of all the Prophets, you alone are left to Us. Take courage, for the Most High has you in remembrance. You are ‘the Beloved!’ Implore Allah often and He will give to you! The Lord has multiplied the knowledge of Himself, and is zealous that these things should be known! The ‘restrainers’ of the Children of men could not stop it. He that created Wisdom is wiser than His Works. He has widened it, and extended it! Let their counsel become ‘darkness’ and what they have cunningly devised — turn on their own heads! Their counsel is nothing, because their tongues and doings have been against the Lord. Woe unto their souls! ********** My brethren have dealt deceitfully as a brook, and the path of their ways are turned aside! Be thou Our leader and not let this ruin come under your hand. Raze it, even to the foundation thereof. For Allah strictly commanded those who came into the world, what they should do to live. Nevertheless they were not obedient. They devised for themselves vain thoughts, and they denied His Ways! And now understand from your own words, for false witnesses have risen against me! Be of good courage and He shall strengthen your heart. I would rather be a ‘doorkeeper’ in the House of my God, than to dwell in the ‘tents of wickedness!’ Because though they had understanding — they committed iniquity, and though they received commandments, they did not keep them, and though they obtained the Law — they dealt unfaithfully with what they received! But because of the times that He has foreordained — when they hear the words of your mouth, the Lord will perfect that which concerns me! Prepare what to say, and bind together your instruction. By the Lord’s decision they were distinguished — for all His Works are as He pleases, to give them as He decides. Look upon all the works of the Most High. I was the last on watch, and by the blessings of the Lord, I excelled. Hear me, and as long as you live do not let anyone take your place. Excel in what you do, and you will find rest! ********** Reform your people, for they come to you like men returning from the circus, and contending about its factions! Run and lay hold on them, each according to his strength. It is the Lord’s will, and He will lay your foundation on Him, and enlarge you in Him. You — whom He Himself has planted, so that you may plant others through Him. I do not demur, I rejoice and am glad. This is to happen in any event, because the Lord showed me what is coming — being come to my release from here! I will declare you and what you are — John, the Servant of Allah! You are my brother, you are friend, and you are housekeeper! These things must be fulfilled in their season. You live, and Allah shall be glorified among the Gentiles through you. Let not the vain speeches of any trouble you, who pervert the Truth — for the commandments of the Lord are ‘twofold!’ Peace be to you, I will extol you! You are come — being armed with divine signs and miracles. Now my bonds are manifest in which I rejoice and am glad. For you have lifted me up, and have not let my enemies rejoice over me. I know that this shall turn into my salvation forever, and it shall be to you, life eternal. For it is Allah, who works in you, those things which you have heard and seen! ********** Come, and you shall ‘stand’ in their midst! See how they do not know what they are saying? Be strong, for you are the one to whom these mysteries were given, to know them by Revelation — while they are divided amongst themselves! Whoever listens to you — listens to me, and whoever disregards you — disregards me, and whoever disregards me — disregards Him Who sent me! Because you did cast your whole care upon Allah, and opened your heart unto Him, believing that you could be safe no other than by His Great and Honorable name — you have escaped a great trial through your faith! Go therefore, and relate to the ‘elect of Allah’ — the great things He has done for you! You have not left your brethren these many days unto this day, but have kept the charge of the commandment of Allah. Therefore return, you, but take diligent heed, to do the commandment and the Law — to walk in all His Ways, and to cleave to Him, and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul! You are an ‘Illuminator’ and a ‘Redeemer’ of those who are mine — and now, of those who are yours! You shall reveal to them, and you shall bring good to them all. For your sake they will be told, and will come to rest, because they did not keep my covenant! The kingdom is already prepared for you, and you have this to plead, especially since I know there are near you, those who will understand my meaning — who are capable of seeing and acknowledging themselves, to have been in the wrong! “Peace be unto you!”
