SLANDER
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful O Mankind! If you pursue Justice, you will attain it, and wear it as a glorious robe! The talk of a fool is offensive, their quarrels make a man stop his ears. Overlook Ignorance — for a man given to anger will kindle strife, and inject enmity among those who are at peace! Slander has shaken many, and whoever pays heed to slander will not find rest! Who has not been exposed to its anger? It will not be master over the godly — those who forsake the Lord fall into its power! See that you make balances and scales for your words, lest you err with your tongue! Keep the Commandments, and on every occasion you will find what you need! It will fight on your behalf against your enemy!
