OUR APOSTLE
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful Praise be to Allah, and Peace upon His Servants Whom He has chosen! How little you reflect! Surely there are ‘signs’ in this for True believers. He will show his signs, and you will recognize them. Have you not heard of those who disbelieved before you? When their Apostles brought them veritable signs — they denied the Truth and gave no heed! But Allah was in no need of them, He guides the hearts of those who believe in Him! If you give no heed to him — know that Our Apostle’s duty is no more than to ‘make plain’ his message! He has knowledge of the visible and the unseen, and bears witness that the hypocrites are lying. It is they who say: “Allah’s are the treasures of heaven and earth.” ….. yet the hypocrites do not know it if they deny this revelation. For if We did, We should be blaspheming! They use their faith as a ‘disguise’ and debar others from the Path of Allah! When you see them — their good looks please you, and when they speak, you listen to what they say. They are ‘the enemy.’ Guard yourself against them! Who is more wicked than the man who invents a falsehood against Allah — ‘guessing’ at the unknown? His are the secrets of the heaven and earth, and none can change His words. This is the Truth from your Lord. Let him who will believe in it, and him who will deny it! That which Allah has ordained must surely come to pass! He had none to help him besides Allah. It is like the green herbs that flourish when watered by the rain. Allah has power over all things! ********** What could this Book mean? Your Lord will wrong none! But with ‘false arguments’ the unbelievers seek to confute the Truth! We cast a veil over their hearts, and made them hard of hearing. They shall never be guided! As for those who have faith and do good works — We shall bestow on them a rich reward! Come, shall We tell you who shall lose most from their labors? Those whose endeavors in this world are misguided and who yet think that what they do is right — desiring no change to befall them! Each Apostle We have sent has spoken ‘only’ in the language of his own people! Surely in this there are signs for every steadfast, thankful man. Allah ‘Alone’ knows their number, and is there any doubt about Allah? He calls you to Him, that He may forgive you your sins, and respite you till your appointed hour! In Allah let all the Faithful put their trust! Allah will strengthen the Faithful with His steadfast Word, and provide them with the earth’s fruits. Nothing in heaven or in earth is hidden from Allah. Do not think that Allah is unaware of the wrongdoers’ actions. They plot! But even if their plots could move Mountains — Mighty is Allah and capable of revenge. Let the wise bear this in mind! Allah knows the wrongdoers — if you but knew it! They seek to extinguish ‘the Light of Allah’ with their mouths. Much as the disbelievers may dislike it, it is He Who has sent His Apostle with Guidance and the Faith of Truth, so that He may exalt it above all religions! Have faith in Allah and His Apostle, and fight for His cause with your wealth and persons. That would be best for you, if you are True believers!
