ADAM
 
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
 
O my Descendants! I am Adam, and I say unto you: “All Praise is due to Allah, our Creator, Who has no Partners in His Kingdom!” ….. Allah, Who created me out of clay on a Friday —  informed me of it! He said unto me: “O Adam! Beware of Satan! He is not favorably disposed toward you, and will do all he can to destroy your Soul.” …..

I, and your mother Eve, were comforted by the Word of Allah — it conversed with us, and Light shone over us! The Light in which we lived gave us Understanding and Knowledge, and a pure heart, and right mind! But now Today I see, you are stripped of the bright nature we had, and many trials and sorrows have come upon you!

Turn, and fear not! Allah Who created you, will strengthen you, and put an end to the Darkness! Come, stand and Pray to Allah, and clothe yourselves with the Light. Satan stripped you of the garment of Light in which we were — that you might be in his likeness. Where is the beauty which was on him? Where is his Light? What have you gained by listening to him? Do you intend to enter Paradise while forsaking the Word of Allah Who created you? You listen to Satan, and he will not fulfill even one of the things he has told you. Do not the behests of Satan and his works!

Know that it is he who made you fall from brightness into darkness — from peace and rest, to toil and misery! Every day of my life he sought to do me wrong, but Allah said unto me: “I will not have you be ignorant! I have delivered you many times from his hands. In order that I may show you that I am Merciful, and that I wish you good and not ruin. I will show you Mercy and Light that never fails. Eat of this Tree of Knowledge -- unless you eat the fruit, you will not be able to attain Paradise!” …..

Allah gave us of the fruit of the Tree of Good and Evil, that we may eat of it and live, and not to see sufferings and other troubles! Sorrow and sufferings have came upon you because you had not eaten it. You thought in your hearts: “If we eat of the fruit of this Tree, He will destroy us, and make an end of us!” ….. This was the work of Satan, who wished to deceive you, since Allah cast him out of Paradise!

Thus now I say unto you: “Unless you eat the fruit, you will not be able to attain Paradise!” ….. Now therefore ask Allah to give you the fruit of the Tree, that you may eat of it and live! And ask him to give you the Water of Life! Does not your flesh require food and drink? So does your Soul! Nourish the Soul. It will please Allah, and prevent your souls from Death!

Concerning the Tree — Satan came to me, saying: “Allah does not love you, seeing that He has placed you outside of Paradise. Wherefore eat not of that Tree. I ate of the Tree and He cast me out of Paradise into this strange land, and deprived me of my bright nature, and brought death upon me. If you should do this, and eat, He will cut off your life from the earth, and will cast you into Hell!” …..

Beware of Satan! Do not be consumed by his burning desire. Many times was I delivered from out of his hands. He was bitter against me, and will come after you. He is angry with us. Do you not see how he has deceived and deprived you? Do you think that he loves you? Or that he wished to raise you on high? He wished to make you come out of Light into Darkness, and from an exalted state to degradation! And all this that he might subject you to him, in the very presence of Allah — that you might go down to Hell after you die!

O my Sons and Daughters! You know this world — that it is full of sorrow and of weariness! You know all that has come upon you from your trials in it. You have endured all these days that you have transgressed, by Allah’s Mercy! Lean not to the discourses of Satan, but keep the commands that I gave you this Day. Give the same to your sons, so that they might abide firm among all your children. Do not mix Truth with Falsehood, neither in your words nor in your deeds!

O John! Set your heart on the People, and establish them in Righteousness! I adjure you by Him Who made Heaven and Earth. Teach them and watch over them. Take care of them and fulfill your Ministry in their presence, until you enter into Rest yourself!
